New Client 3-Class Evaluation - 60 minutes
The introductory evaluation is required before starting any group classes.
Awaken the Senses & Breathe - 45 minutes
No experience necessary
Start your day with more mental clarity, focus and energy. This is a 45-minute class to learn tools for staying calm and present in the moment. We'll do simple breathing patterns and movements to help reverse postural slumping and bring you into a state of peace and calm. Have props available such as a skin scrubbing cloth or brush, a tennis or therapy ball, a mat and stool.
Gyrokinesis Beginner Basics - 75 minutes
Learn the basic spinal motions of the body which are the building blocks for all GYROTONIC & GYROKINESIS classes and start to move your body in a more spacious & grounded way. Bring a chair without arms or a stool, and a mat.
Gyrokinesis All Levels - 60 minutes
This class is based on the Gyrokinesis 60 minute format. Learn to mobilize the spine in all directions to assist in creating length and decompression, balance and stability. You will learn to work within your optimal and safe range of motion, while building strength and flexibility. Find more ease and freedom in the body to reverse daily aches and pains due to stagnation and compression. Bring a chair without arms or a stool, and a mat.
Gyrokinesis Intermediate - 90 minutes
This class is based on the Gyrokinesis 90 minute format. We’ll start with a sensory warm up to awaken the entire system and bring the body into greater balance. This class is designed to flow through the Gyrokinesis sequences for increased mobility and dynamic movement. Depending on participants on any given day, the focus and level of difficulty will shift due to the adaptability of the program. Come prepared with a sturdy stool, mat, a towel or prop for tight hips, a skin scrubbing brush/cloth and tennis or therapy balls may be used.
Gyrokinesis Private - 60 minutes
No experience necessary
This class is based on your level and needs and is recommended for anyone who would like to work at their own pace and to get more specific about the intention and purpose of their movements. This class is also recommended for anyone who has chronic pain or a limiting injury.
Mixed Focus Class - 60 minutes
No experience necessary
The focus of this class will vary such as opening the hands and/or the feet; exploration of the breath and energetics of the system; quality of movement and more. Have a stool and mat available, and props such as a cushion to prop up hips on the floor, a therapy ball, tennis ball. Yamuna foot wakers or foot savers may be utilized.
